The new single, "Your Way," by Francie is a peaceful, beautiful listen. The simple guitar strums help illuminate the soft and melancholic vocals, highlighting the dichotomy between love and loss. Francie then introduces an edge to the song with a transition from a simple acoustic guitar to a more complex arrangement at the bridge. The shift perfectly fits the tonal change in lyrics as she says, “I never told you the way I feel now/Something has frozen in my veins…/You seem very well; I’m not quite as well." The hurt and anger is palpable yet delicate.
