Mae Muller is a London based pop diva and we LOVE her. We chatted about all things life, love and creativity- check it out below and be sure to follow her on social media here!

1) What can fans expect from your upcoming album?

A lot of emotions and moods. The songs span over the past couple of years so I have songs about ex-boyfriends from 3 years ago to people I've met more recently so it really shows all the various emotions you go through in a relationship. It shows a bit more of my personality and all the different sides to me and I'm looking forward to seeing how people take it all in!

2) Do you think it's possible to be independent while being in love?

I think it is because independence is something you create for yourself and no one can take that away from you. For me, when I feel myself falling in love I feel like I'm losing control because I'm depending on someone else and their actions affect my happiness. It's a bit annoying liking someone haha but I think once you get over that primary fear and insecurity and really create that independence for yourself no one can take that away from you and that's your journey.

3) Who do you make music for and how do you want people to feel after listening to your music?

Honestly I make music for anyone and everyone! But as a woman I definitely write for other young women, I write from my own experiences and I want other young women to listen to my music and feel empowered. I want them to listen to it and feel like a bad bitch! I always say I write music I wish I could have listened to when I was 15.

4) If you could have dinner with anyone who would it be?

Rihanna!!

5) How do you stay creatively energized?

Recently I felt tired creatively and emotionally drained with no new ideas. So what helped is I started writing from other people's perspectives and it gave me a fresh new release by taking it outside of my own head and seeing how other people feel about things. Don't force it and be sure to allow yourself time as well, it's important to know when to take a step back and come back to it when you're feeling more rejuvenated:)
